Thoughts on females calling your car cute

So I've set up camp at the car show, sitting in front of my car watching the muscle arrive. Random girl walks by and tells me my car is cute (enthusiastically I might add)

Chevy luv owner next to me goes "hey bro, it's never good when a girl calls your car cute"

Is it never good? I mean, my car IS cute. It's a tiny hatchback. While cute isn't what I'm going for, at least it's being complimented.

So what's your thought oppo? If a girl calls your car cute, is it good or bad?

What car is it? Did you tell her it was cute on the inside too? Did you offer to take her for a ride? with ice cream? Did you say "yeah, well its got a darkside too"?

I had a girl call my rental HHR cute. I returned it immediately. I would say it's okay if your secure in your masculinity.

If a random girl sees a kitten: "Awwww, It's Cute" GOOD

If a random girl sees a car" "Awwww, It's cute" BAD. MY CAR IS NOT A KITTEN

What's wrong with your car being 'cute'? Nobody's going to become less of a manly man because they have a 'cute' car :) Who knows, having a cute car might lead to a car ride with said female rather than a red lambo :)

As a former Tacoma owner, I heard this more than a few times.

Don't sweat it. At least you got a female's attention.

Also, Chevy Luv!

They never do - I drive a small hatchback, but I'm British, so everyone else does too - but I wouldn't mind it if they did. I've never really worried over my masculinity all that much.

Sonic. She wasn't a girl I'd want in my car....especially not with the cigarette in her mouth

I don't think there's anything wrong with it. If it's being noticed I can't complain

good, screw the jealous owner next to you getting no Luv.

any positive compliment is good of course. would you rather her say , "ughhh thats ugly?" No, no you wouldn't. Also cute is a possible conversation starter, wait till she gets to know the dick that drives the car....

You got more female attention than most of us are going to get. So I don't see that as a bad thing.

If a woman compliments your car you fucking take it. Because you know that shit rarely ever happens. It's always other males that are complimenting you.

Take it and appreciate it. Also, let's teach our daughters to love cars because I'm sick of this sausage fest.

That guy was speaking Broese. Here I'll translate.

"Hey bro, it's never good when a girl calls your car cute."

=

"Hey bro, I'm deeply insecure in my identity as a man. So much so, that even other mens identities have to remain pure and free of any perception of emasculation. I noticed that not-man over there said something not-manly about your personal extension of manhood (what some people refer to as a 'car'), and as a result, I felt the need to project my private insecurities on to your public and separate interactions with others."

"Also, I'm completely unaware and unable to address the stuff I just said, so if you call me out on this, I will - facetiously or not - attack your identity as a man in order to preserve the sense of rightness and completion I have in my own."

Broese is the winzip of languages.

I think it was funny that it came from a guy in a chevy luv. I could sense the jelly...he's obviously worked hard on his truck (and I mean that sincerely), and then this guy shows up in a planet express shirt in a Chevy Sonic and gets a compliment

One time I was driving along in my riced Cavalier when it was in perfect condition and all shiny and this girl from across the street yells out "Wow, nice Cavalier!!"

That was a great day my friend...I felt like....the BOSS!

I drive a Mini Cooper R53. With the factory aero kit, driving lamps and stripes. It gets called cute by girls all the time. Usually it's friendly, so it's all good
